Afrojack is living the dj dream. Travelling all over the world, making the best music with the best musicians and winning one award after another. He is the living proof that all this is possible to achieve at a young age once you start at the right time.

It might seem that the fame of Afrojack just recently skyrocketed . He is now known worldwide as the up and coming dj to watch closely. Yet there is a lifetime of listening to music, making music and practicing that went ahead of this world fame. Now 24 years old, the Dutchman started making music when he was only 11 after discovering the software FruityLoops.  While his peers depended on school to learn and to decide what career they would pursue, Afrojack explored the nightlife of Rotterdam to discover the tricks of the dance trade. At the age of18 he deejayed for five months in Greece. Back home he started making music with fellow Dutchmen Sidney Samson, Laidback Luke and The Partysquad. The big DJ's and larger audiences started noticing the talent of the young man from Spijkenisse and his signature style of Dutch house, electro and club music. The big breakthrough came in 2009 when Afrojack started working with David Guetta. Now Afrojack is spinning records all over the world, he has produced his first anthem (Take Over Control), he won a Grammy and everybody wants to work with him. World domination is within reach.
