European Border Breakers Music Awards

UK singer Adele, who won an EBBA award in 2009, has since gone on to produce many successful songs. She isn’t just a major star in the UK, she also tops the charts outside of her home territory. It is a Dutch tradition to compile a list of the top 2000 most popular songs ever by public vote. Traditionally this list is published and played on Dutch radio at the end of the year. This year Adele was one of the most popular artists on the list, entering the Top 2000 chart with no less than 6 singles. Adele was also the highest new entry on the list, her song ‘Someone like you’ entered at 6.
