19-year old Alan Walker is already a well known name all over Europe. The Norwegian EDM-producer's EBBA Awards-winning song Faded became a smash hit last year topping the charts in ten European nations. English-born Walker moved with his parents to Norway at the age of 2 and grew up surrounded by technology. Inspired by EDM producers K-391 and Ahrix and film composers Steve Jablonsky and Hans Zimmer, he created his own "drumstep" music (slowed-down drum 'n' bass) and uploaded Fade. The instrumental track was soon picked up and re-released, and in 2015 Walker signed to Sony Music.
His first single for the label was Faded. For this reworked version Faded was supplemented with angelic vocals by Oslo pop singer Iselin Solheim, a catchy melody, and punchy production. Before his next tour throughout Europe Walker will perform at the EBBA Awards.
